13 DMP officials, including ACP, transferred across country

Thirteen police officials currently serving in Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred to different units across the country.
The transfers were made in an office order signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam today (17 August).
Among those transferred is the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Md Mahfuzur Rahman at DMP Headquarters, who was investigating Jhenaidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim murder case, has been moved to the Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) in the Rajshahi range as assistant superintendent of police.
Besides, 12 other additional deputy commissioners transferred to various districts as additional superintendents of police.
Among them Md Enamul Haque Mithu has been moved to Pirojpur in-service training centre, Rubaiyat Zaman to Sunamganj in-service training centre, Md Rafiqul Islam to APBn, Mohammad Alauddin to APBn, Mirza Salahuddin to BPA of Rajshahi range, SM Jahangir Hasan to Naval Police, Mohammad Shahidul Islam to the Industrial Police, Masuk Mia has been transferred to Railway Police, Kazi Maqsuda Lima to Tangail PTC, Badruzzaman Zillu to Kushtia In-Service Training Centre, Khandaker Rabiul Arafat to Rab and Md Elias Hossain to Rangpur Range DIG office.
