ACC summons 10 Biman Bangladesh officials
The ACC restricted Mosaddik and nine other Biman officials from going abroad on May 2
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned 10 officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, including it’s former managing director and CEO AM Mosaddik Ahmed, for interrogation concerning their alleged involvement inthe recruitment process of cadet pilots.
ACC Deputy Director Md Saiful Islam, who has been investigating into the charges, sent a notice to this effect to AM Mosaddik Ahmed, the ex-Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
As per thedirective of the notice, the convicted officials of the national flag carrier must appearat ACC headquarters on July 28, 29 and 30. The anti-corruptionagency has summoned AM Mosaddik Ahmed on July 30. The other accused have been asked to show up at ACC headquarters on July 28 and 29.
The others summoned are -- Biman ground service supervisors GM Zakir Hossain, Md Mizanur Rahman and AKM Masum Billah; Junior Ground Officer Md Moshiqur Rahman; commercial supervisors Md Rafiqul Alam and Golam Kaiser Ahmed; commercial officers Md Zawed Tarique Khan and Mahfuzul Karim Siddique; and Junior Commercial Officer Mehedi Hasan.
Earlier on May 2, the ACC restricted Mosaddik and nine other Biman officials from going abroad.
