Anti-Discrimination Movement denounces fake news campaign
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has condemned a misinformation campaign being propagated by a vested group against various media outlets in the country.
This group is falsely using the movement's name to claim that certain media outlets did not support the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, urging people not to support these outlets.
They have also threatened that anyone who does support these media organisations will face humiliation, harassment, or even job loss.
The student group has informed the Chief Adviser's Office that these letters and lists are fake and part of a smear campaign. They have urged the public not to be misled by these false messages, according to a statement of the Chief Adviser's Office.
