BAF air display to mark Bangabandhu’s birth centenary
Different types of aircraft will be displayed in the skies of different parts of the country
On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the best Bengali of thousands of years, the Bangladesh Air Force will honour Bangabandhu on Wednesday by displaying a pleasant air display.
Under the direction of Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, different types of aircraft will be displayed in the skies of different parts of the country, reads a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate.
Air Vice Marshal Md Saeed Hossain will supervise the display of the Air Force's combat aircraft, transport aircraft, training aircraft and helicopters while Air Commodore Khan Md Mahmudul Haque will lead the flight jet display.
The display of K-8W and Yak-130 aircraft will be led by Air Commodore Kazi Iqbal Karim and Air Commodore Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddique will be in overall charge of the PT-6 training aircraft display.
Group Captain Md Ahsanur Rahman will supervise the transport aircraft display and Wing Commander Raihan Kabir will be in overall charge of the helicopter display.
