Brac introduces specialised career counseling for expats
Brac has officially launched specialised career counseling services for repatriated Bangladeshis.
The services, designed to help returnees find jobs or start their own businesses, are now available at BRAC centers in 16 districts, reads a press release.
The launch event took place in Sylhet on Thursday, with BRAC's Associate Director Shariful Hasan unveiling the guidelines and toolkit.
The initiative is funded by the European Union and BRAC under the Prottasha-II project.
Shariful Hasan explained that the new career counseling services will help repatriated Bangladeshis who want to become entrepreneurs.
"The services will provide guidance on business planning, financing, and other essential aspects of starting a new venture. BRAC will also offer in-kind support to those who successfully complete the counseling programme," he added.
