Circulars for two BCS soon
Good news for the jobseekers as circulars for two BCS will be published soon amid the pandemic
Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) stands firm to retain the regular flow of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations and has decided in principle to issue circulars for the next two BCS examinations soon.
Through the 42nd BCS examination, 2,000 doctors will be recruited while the circular for the 43rd test will be issued seeking applications against 1,814 posts in different cadres, say BPSC sources.
However, Tripti Kona, public relation officer (PRO) of the BPSC, told The Business Standard the decision was yet to be finalised. "We will let all know once a final decision is made in this regard."
The BPSC and the Ministry of Public Administration sources said, the ministry has sent its demand for the 43rd General BCS to the BPSC Monday.
A total of 814 education cadres will be recruited through the 43rd BCS. Besides, 300 cadres will be appointed in administration, 100 in police, 25 in foreign service, 35 in audit, 19 in tax, 14 in customs, 20 in cooperatives, 75 in dental surgeons, and 383 in other wings.
The BPSC has already finalised the process of the 42nd Special BCS. A special meeting is due to be held on Wednesday to fix the date for publishing the circular.
Next week, the BPSC will initiate the process of 43rd BCS examination, say BPSC sources.
