A Bhola Court has sent Biplab Chandra Shuvo and two others to jail in a case filed under Digital Security Act.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Farid Alam passed the order today.
Biplab, a Hindu youth from Kachia union of the upazila, allegedly uploaded a post on Facebook that hurt Muslim religious sentiment and resulted in a fierce clash in the upazila on Sunday.
Police detained Biplab on Saturday.
On Sunday, four people were killed and hundreds injured in Bhola's Borhanuddin upazila in clashes between police and local people. The local people were demonstrating for punishment of a Biplab who, they claimed, had hurt their religious sentiment in a Facebook post.
