Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed will outline a roadmap to reform the judiciary on 21 September.
The roadmap will include issues of independence, institutional separation and autonomy of the judiciary, reads a press statement issued by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court today (4 September).
The Chief Justice will announce the roadmap at a plenary event at the Supreme Court where he will address the subordinate judiciary, reads the statement.
He will be "outlining a roadmap for the Judiciary expanding on the issues of the independence, and the institutional separation and autonomy of the judiciary as highlighted by himself at his inaugural address" on 12 August 2024, it added.
