Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on carrying all sorts of arms, explosives and other harmful objects as well as any kind of demonstration, meeting, procession and rally in some areas around Jatiya Sangsad (JS) from 12am on June 10 to ensure smooth functioning of the third JS session.
DMP informed about the ban through a press release on June 9.
The restrictions have been imposed under the Section 28 and 29 of Police Ordinance 1976 to ensure ‘peach and discipline’ in and around the parliament house.
