New curriculum not implementable, old one to be restored: Education adviser
The new curriculum, especially its evaluation system, is not implementable, Education Adviser Prof Wahiduddin Mahmud said today (18 August).
"We will return to the previous curriculum in phases as implementation of the new curriculum is not possible in the country," he said while talking to reporters at his secretariat office.
He added that they will transition back to the old system gradually to avoid causing any disruptions to students' studies.
Wahiduddin, an economist and professor of Dhaka University, today went to the education ministry for the first time after taking oath as an adviser of the ministry on Friday.
