School closure extended till October 31
The educational institutions are closed in the country from March 16 due to coronavirus outbreak
The government has extended the closure of all educational institutions in the country till October 31.
Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of Education Ministry, confirmed it to The Business Standard today.
Earlier on March 16, the Ministry of Education issued a press release regarding the government decision of closing all educational institutions and coaching centres from March 18-31, considering the safety of the students amid the global pandemic. Later the closure was extended by the ministry several times. Starting with the extension till April 9, then came respectively April 25, May 5, May 30, August 6, August 31 and finally until October 3.

As of Wednesday, the overall death toll from the deadly virus rose to 5,219 and the number of total infections stood at 3,62,043 in the country.
