Govt seeks info on freedom fighter quota appointments of 3rd-4th-class posts
The government has sought information on all individuals employed in third- and fourth-class posts under the Freedom Fighter quota.
On 15 August, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs sent a letter to the secretaries of all other ministries requesting to provide the information such as the candidates' names, ranks, parents' names and addresses, freedom fighter certificate and gazette numbers and dates of appointment.
An official from the Ministry of Social Welfare told The Business Standard that after receiving the letter from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, they have forwarded the letter to their ministry and its subordinate departments requesting the necessary information.
Various ministries have reportedly started the process of compiling the information.
