OCs of 32 police stations under DMP transferred
A total of 50 DMP OCs have been transferred so far this month
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) officials serving as officers-in-charge of 32 police stations have been transferred today (18 August).
They were transferred in an office order signed by AIG of Police Headquarters Md Kamrul Ahsan.
Earlier on 13 August, the government transferred 18 officers-in-charge of different police stations under the DMP.

Former OC of Jatrabari Police Station BM Farman Ali, Mazharul Islam of Gulshan, Abul Kalam Azad of Motijheel, Monir Hossain Molla of Paltan, Mostazirur Rahman of Shahbagh and Apurba Hasan of Pallabi are among the transferred officers.
According to police sources, most of these OCs were directly involved in firing on students, mass arrests, harassment, and excessive force during the recent student movement.
