Rajshahi AL leader Dablu arrested in Naogaon
Dablu was arrested from Dakshinpara village under Sadar police station of Naogaon district in a drive by RAB last night (4 October), said RAB-5 Commander Lt Col Firoj Kabir
Members of Rapid Action Battalion-5 have arrested Dablu Sarkar, Awami League's Rajshahi city unit general secretary, in a murder case filed over attacking protesters during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
Dablu was arrested from Dakshinpara village under Sadar police station of Naogaon district in a drive by RAB last night (4 October), said RAB-5 Commander Lt Col Firoj Kabir.
He said 11 cases, including killings of students Abu Raihan and Sakib Anjum in students' mass upsurge on 5 August in Rajshahi, are pending against Dablu.
Firoj Kabir also said there are massive allegations against Dablu that he had led the armed attacks on the protests led by Anti-Discrimination Student Movements at Alupatty crossing and Shaheb Bazar areas in Rajshahi city on 5 August.
