Trains to stop at ‘D’ class Brahmanbaria station from Tuesday
Stoppage at Brahmanbaria station has been in suspension since 27 March following mayhem by Hefazat-e-Islam supporters and activists
The railway authorities have decided to resume train services at Brahmanbaria station, degrading it as a "D" class one.
From Tuesday, four trains, including Surma Mail, Mymensingh Express, Titas Commuter, and Karnaphuli Commuter, will make stopovers at the station.
Apart from those, the inter-city train Parabat Express will make a regular stopover at the station from Wednesday.
The information was revealed in a letter issued by Md Rezaul Haque, deputy director (operation) at the traffic transportation section of Bangladesh Railway.

In protest against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Dhaka visit, Hefazat men carried out vandalism at the station, leaving the signal system completely damaged along with other destructions.
