Former captain of Bangladesh Biman dies from Covid-19
“He died at around 12pm in the capital’s Anwar Khan Modern Hospital”
Ali Ashraf Khan, a former captain of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, died from Covid-19 infection on Tuesday.
"He died at around 12pm in the capital's Anwar Khan Modern Hospital," Abdul Majed Miah, former captain of the airlines, confirmed.
Ali Ashraf was admitted to the hospital a few days ago after he suddenly fell sick. He had diabetes, high blood pressure and other health-related problems, according to his colleagues.
Seven days back, his wife also died from the deadly coronavirus infection.
