Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) has organsed its 23^rd annual general meeting virtually on December 26 last year.

ABB Chairman and MD & CEO of Eastern Bank Limited Ali Reza lftekhar presided over the meeting, a press release said on Monday.

The Board of Governors unanimously nominated MD & CEO of Brac Bank Limited Selim RF Hussain as a new vice-chairman and MD & CEO of City Bank Limited Mashrur Arefin as secretary general of ABB.

Both positions fell vacant recently due to the resignation from banks by the earlier position-holders.
