NCC Bank to provide special credit facilities for low-income professionals
It took the step under the revolving refinance scheme of the central bank
NCC Bank has taken initiatives to extend special credit facilities to low-income professionals, farmers and micro businessmen affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It took the step to provide credit support at a lower rate of interest under the revolving refinance scheme of the Bangladesh Bank.
In this regard, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TMSS recently, said a press release.
Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, managing director and chief executive officer of NCC Bank, and Professor Dr Hosne-Ara Begum, executive director of TMSS, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
M Shamsul Arefin, deputy managing director of the bank; Md Mahfuzur Rahman, senior vice-president and head of remittance and NRB services; Muhammad Shahidul Islam, vice-president of the CRM division; Md Waliul Islam, vice-president and manager of Dilkusha branch; Sushanto Kumar Pramanik, consultant; Md Abul Bashar Bhuiya, director (finance); and Surajit Kumar Saha, consultant at TMSS, were also present on the occasion along with other senior executives of both organisations.
