Pathao Donates to the Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund for Flood Victims
Pathao, the country's largest digital service platform, and its employees have contributed BDT 25 lakh to the Chief Advisor's Relief and Welfare Fund to support those affected by the devastating floods across various districts of Bangladesh.
As part of Pathao's broader commitment to aiding flood-affected communities, employees voluntarily donated their salary for a day, and Pathao matched their contribution.
Additionally, the safety coverage fee from each ride taken through its platform from September 1 to 15 will restore flood-affected areas. To further support this cause, Pathao will match the total amount accumulated during this period, doubling the impact of every ride and ensuring that the communities in need receive vital assistance.
Pathao has also partnered with BRAC and the As-Sunnah Foundation to support flood relief efforts further.
Customers can purchase donation cards in various denominations in the Pathao Shop (available in the Pathao app). All proceeds go to the relief efforts managed by BRAC and As-Sunnah Foundation.
Founded in 2015, Pathao is the market leader in ride-sharing, food delivery, and e-commerce logistics in Bangladesh, serving more than 10 million consumers, daily earners, and small businesses.
