SEU signs MoU with TMSS grand health sector for collaborative research and development

Southeast University (SEU) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the TMSS Grand Health Sector to foster collaboration in research, education, and healthcare.

The MoU was signed on October 5, 2024, during a business meeting and MoU signing ceremony held at the Conference Room of TMSS Bogura.

Representatives from both institutions attended the ceremony. Prof. Dr Hosne-Ara Begum, Founder and Executive Director, and Dr Md. Matiur Rahman, Deputy Executive Director, represented TMSS. Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice Chancellor; Professor Dr Hasnat M Alamgir, Director of Research and Training; and Mr M Tarik Al Jalil, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Southeast University, represented SEU.

The MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the two institutions in various areas, including Joint research projects, Academic program development, and Continuing education.

Before the MoU signing ceremony, Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, the Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, visited Pundra University of Science & Technology on October 4, 2024. During the visit, Prof. Islam toured various departments and laboratories, met the faculty and staff, and learned about Pundra University's academic programs and research initiatives. Professor Dr Chitta Ranjan Misra, Vice-Chancellor of Pundra University of Science & Technology, welcomed him to his campus.
