Dexter season 9 trailer confirms that Michael C Hall's character is still a serial killer
The series has introduced a few new faces that Dexter will be toying with in the new season
In a new trailer of the Showtime's ninth season of Michael C. Hall's popular series 'Dexter', we felt the real essence of it. The series will return in a 10-episode event sometime this fall, for the first time since 2013. After Dexter's disastrous series finale left viewers bitter about a show they once adored, fans are hoping that the anti-return hero's would correct those errors.

Clyde Phillips, who left the show during its fourth season, is back on board for the revival, hinting at the series' return to its roots.
The series has introduced a few new faces that Dexter will be toying with in the new season, but Hall is the only original cast member currently scheduled to reprise his role. Dexter's main adversary will be Clancy Brown, while Jamie Chung will play a true-crime podcaster. A brief teaser hinted at the series' snowy location, with Dexter moving on from his time in Miami and Oregon and taking up residence in upstate New York.
Despite the fact that the new series seems to be set in a different place, it's obvious that Dexter remains the serial killer that fans have come to know and love. It's unclear how much he's changed personally in the ten years since Dexter's original ending, but he'll undoubtedly be feeding the Dark Passenger inside him.
Many viewers are still angry about the show's bungled finale, and this reboot is the perfect opportunity to give Hall's protagonist a proper send-off.
