NBR waives 4% advance tax from edible oil for Ramadan
Every year during the month of Ramadan, the prices of the daily necessities, especially edible oil rises very high
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has withdrawn advance tax from imported unrefined soybean and palm oil for the upcoming Ramadan.
Aiming to keep the commodity prices stable during this holy month, NBR decided to exempt 4 percent advance tax, says a press release from the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
