Israel's attack on Gaza's Rafah has been strongly condemned by the world
Rafah refugee camp in Gaza was designated as a safe area. However, Israel hindered even that protected area from continuing to be safe. An Israeli attack on a tent campsite for refugees in the Tal al-Sultan region resulted in the deaths of at least 45 persons. There were about 250 injuries. The refugee camp's tents caught fire after the incident. Numerous people were burnt alive.
