Barisal University students protest demanding resignation of VC, proctor
The students of Barisal University held a protest rally today (19 August) demanding the resignation of the vice-chancellor and proctor.
The protest took place on the ground floor of the university's administrative building.
During the event, students issued an ultimatum, demanding their resignation within the next 24 hours.

The students said, "The current vice-chancellor and Proctor have harassed students in various ways during the ongoing student movement. Despite numerous allegations of corruption and irregularities against them, they have never been held accountable due to their allegiance to the fascist Awami League government. As long as this Vice-Chancellor and Proctor remain in power, the students of Barisal University will never experience true freedom."
