Rains disrupt immigration, import-export through Akhaura port

Immigration activities and import-export have been halted through the Akhaura land port in Brahmanbaria due to waterlogging amid heavy downpours and hill torrents. According to local sources, rainfall started today (21 August) at midnight in various places in Brahmanbaria and the land port road was already flooded in the morning.
