UK provides £33,000 to Bangladesh flood victims
It will be implemented by Start Fund Bangladesh and Save the Children International
The United Kingdom (UK) has declared to provide £33,000 of immediate humanitarian assistance in Bangladesh to support people affected by severe flooding in Feni, Khagrachari and Noakhali.
The aid will provide vital search and rescue, food, cash transfers, clean water, sanitation and hygiene supplies, said a press release of British High Commission issued today (26 August).
It will be implemented by Start Fund Bangladesh and Save the Children International, it added.
