Police superintendents of 24 districts transferred
New police superintendents have been appointed in the districts of Rangpur, Gazipur, Cumilla, Dhaka, Sirajganj, Chattogram, Manikganj, Mymensingh, Gaibandha, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Munshiganj, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Natore, Pabna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Kishoreganj, Jhenaidah, Magura, Tangail, Jashore, and Narsingdi.
In a continuation of transfers and changes across various units of the police force, 24 district police superintendents (SPs) have been transferred today (27 August).
As per a notification issued by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs from Police-1 Branch, the order was issued by Deputy Secretary Md Mahabur Rahman Sheikh under the directives of the president.
The notification stated that this order was issued in the public interest, and would take immediate effect.
