First Meeting of the Board of Directors of Global Islami Bank held
The first meeting of Global Islami Bank's new board of directors was held recently at the bank's Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Independent Director and Chairman of the Board Mohammad Nurul Amin presided over the meeting.
The bank's Independent Directors. Md. Zamal Mollah, Nurul Islam Khalifa, Prof. Abu Hena Reza Hasan and Md. Mahamud Hosain, FCA, Managing Director Syed Habib Hasnat, and other bank officials attended the meeting.
The meeting had a threadbare discussion on the bank's financial condition along with other prevailing conditions, like protecting the interest of depositors and overcoming the crisis period in the shortest possible time as per instruction and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank.
