Locals find missing student activist in unconscious state in Khulna
Kadrul was found in front of Sultania Ahmed Jame Masjid at Daroga lane under the city’s Labanchara police station early today (11 September)
An activist of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement who went missing for six days was found by locals in an unconscious state in Khulna.
The activist has been identified as Kadrul Hasan, a student of Govt Hazi Muhammad Muhsin College of the district and a part-time worker at Popular Diagnostic Centre in the city's Sheikhpara area.
Kadrul was found in front of Sultania Ahmed Jame Masjid at Daroga lane under the city's Labanchara police station early today (11 September).

When asked about the matter, Officer In-Charge of Labanchara police station Palash Kumar Das said, "After finding Kadrul in an unconscious state, those present in the area first took him inside the mosque and poured water on his head. As Kadrul did not regain consciousness, they informed police, who then took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital."
"However, police couldn't know what had happened with him over the last few days due to his unconsciousness", Palash added
According to Kadrul's family, he went out of his home at Sonar Bangla lane under the city's Sonadanga police station on around 3pm on Thursday (5 September) to join the work of packaging relief items for the flood victims.
He went missing while returning home that night.
Not finding him anywhere, Kadrul's wife Saida Khatun filed two general diaries with Sonadanga and Khulna Sadar police station.
She also arranged a press conference at Khulna Press Club last Saturday (7 September), where she said, "I talked to my husband around 7pm on Thursday, when he told me that he was busy in packing the relief items and would return home soon. But he did not come back. I found his number active once when I called him around 11pm, but after that his phone was switched off."
Meanwhile, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement leaders and activists formed a human chain at the city's Moylapota intersection on Monday (9 September) and gave an ultimatum to find him within 24 hours.
At the human chain, the student leaders and activists blamed the cronies of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina for the disappearance of Kadrul and vowed to resist any attack on their fellows.
