MTB Foundation supports flood victims in Feni region

As part of its ongoing commitment to assist underprivileged communities, MTB Foundation has recently provided relief materials and financial aid to support the flood victims in the Feni region. The assistance included hiring boats and speedboats and supplying lifejackets to ensure the safety of those affected by the severe flooding. This emergency response, led by MTB Foundation, aims to bring immediate relief and improve the living conditions of the flood-affected population in the region.

The relief materials were handed over by Giash Uddin Ahmed, Regional Head of Branch Banking Division at Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB), alongside Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, and Golam Rabbani, Associate, MTB Foundation. 

The devastating floods in Feni have submerged homes and infrastructure, causing widespread damage, power outages, and disrupted communication in the Parshuram, Fulgazi, Sonagazi, Daganbhuiyan, and Chhagalnaiya upazilas. The foundation believes its timely intervention will significantly improve the situation for those hardest hit by the disaster.
