Pager Explosions in Lebanon, Hezbollah Blames Israel
Across Lebanon, 3,000 pagers (communication devices) exploded simultaneously, killing 11 people and injuring more than 3,000. Following the incident, Hezbollah blamed Israel. A Reuters report stated that Hezbollah claimed Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, had placed explosives inside 5,000 pagers that were purchased from Taiwan.
