Stocks open week in the red
During the session, 30% issues advanced, while 52% declined
The benchmark index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened the week in the red as it dropped by 48 points to close at 5,373.
On Monday (14 October), the blue-chip index DS30 also lost 15 points to settle at 1,969.

The turnover at the DSE fell by 7% to Tk350 crore.
Agni Systems topped the turnover table, which was followed by Techno Drugs, BRAC Bank and Grameenphone.
Capitec Grameen Bank Growth Fund was the top gainer, followed by BIFC, BDCOM Online and Fareast Knitting and Dyeing.
RSRM Steel was the worst performer of the day, followed by Walton and Renwick Jajneswar.
