Megan Thee Stallion honoured for philanthropy
Megan Thee Stallion will receive the inaugural genLOVE award for her philanthropy at the Golden Heart Awards on 21 October in New York City, benefiting God's Love We Deliver.
The 'Hiss' rapper is recognised for her charitable efforts, including her Pete and Thomas Foundation, which supports programs in Houston. Sarah Jessica Parker will also be honoured at the event, receiving the Michael Kors award for philanthropy.
The gala, co-chaired by Kors, John Idol, and Blaine Trump, will feature a special performance by Sam Smith and a dinner curated by restaurateur Melba Wilson. Last year's event raised over $3.5 million for medically tailored meals for those battling serious illnesses.
