Sabrina Carpenter releases new album 'Short n’ Sweet'
This year has been a major breakthrough for singer Sabrina Carpenter. The former Disney Channel star dominated the summer with her hit singles 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please,' building on the success of her 2022 breakout album 'Emails I Can't Send.' Her highly anticipated album 'Short n' Sweet,' released on 23 August, signifies the next phase in her growing career.
Carpenter has been making music for almost a decade, and although 'Short n' Sweet' is her sixth album in total, she considers it her sophomore LP, describing it as her second "big girl" project in an interview with Variety.
With the support of Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff, Carpenter proves that she's a versatile pop singer who can excel across various musical styles. Although many of her lyrics are deeply personal, she acknowledged that fans tend to resonate more with the lighter, more playful tracks that showcase her everyday persona.
