After Pagers, Now 'Walkie-Talkie' Explosions in Lebanon; Israel Blamed Again
On September 18, just one day after the previous incident, another explosion occurred in Lebanon. This time, it was again a small device kept in pockets – walkie-talkies, wireless communication devices. According to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, at least 20 people were killed and 450 injured. The day before, on September 17, nearly 3,000 pagers used by Hezbollah members exploded simultaneously in several locations across Lebanon. That incident left 12 people dead, including two children, and injured nearly 3,000 others.
