Interim govt saves Tk1,835cr on Padma Bridge project

The interim government has achieved significant cost savings for the Padma Bridge project, reducing the total expenditure by Tk1,835 crore through a cost-cutting policy. Road Transport and Bridges Advisor Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan announced the savings at a press conference after inspecting the project in Shariatpur. He noted that if a more effective government had been in charge during the construction, costs could have been further reduced.
