Iran's Late President Replaced by Reformist Masoud Pezeshkian
Masoud Pezeshkian has been elected President of Iran, receiving nearly 3 million more votes than his rival Saeed Jalili, who was blessed by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Pezeshkian secured 16.4 million votes, while Jalili received 13.5 million votes. Finally, Masoud Pezeshkian will succeed the late President Ebrahim Raisi.
