Saudi Arabia and the UAE seek to see Palestine as an independent state

The United Arab Emirates has announced that it will not support any post-war plans for Gaza by Israel until an independent Palestinian state is established. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has stated that Riyadh will not normalize relations with Israel unless a Palestinian state is formed.
