Trinamool MP in Trouble over Controversial Comment on Rape

On September 1st, the entire West Bengal erupted in protest, demanding justice for those involved in the rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata's R.G. Kar Medical College Hospital. From north to south Kolkata, the city resonated with protest marches, shaking areas like College Street, College Square, Rabindra Sadan, Nandan, Golpark, Exide More, Behala, Bhawanipur, Gariahat, Dharmatala, and various other corners of the state.
