After many countries around the world including Bangladesh, the international Islamic organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir has been banned in India. India's home ministry has banned the outfit under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) for allegedly inciting youth to radicalize and join violent jihad.
