Overnight Gunfire at ECB: Why?

Locals say that as evening fell, the situation in the area became tense. Many were seen roaming the streets and alleys with sharp weapons. Shortly after, around 1 AM, gunfire was heard. It was seen that an army troop had apprehended the robbers from a building.
